Chunghwa (simplified Chinese: 中华; traditional Chinese: 中華; pinyin: Zhōnghua) is a premium brand of Chinese cigarettes produced by the Shanghai Tobacco Group, a subsidiary of China Tobacco. Due to its popularity in the Chinese market, it is considered the most representative brand of Chinese cigarettes and is known as the “national smoke”. The cigarette package design is a bright red color with the Tiananmen and its Huabiao pillars in gold on the front. “Chunghwa”, or Zhonghua (中华/中華), is one of the common names for China. As a result, advertisements usually use the name as a pun, though this practice has been controversial. For example, the slogan “Love Our Chunghwa” could also translate as “Love Our China” and could therefore be used as advertisement.

Decided to try these for my first order had 4 other packs of different ciggs these I’m sad to say were the absolute worst in my opinion. First not a problem of the ciggs themselves or ciggies but these were slightly damaged still smoke-able just damage to the pack wasnt sure if I was meant to pack so gave a light pack (3 medium taps) they packed down literally a good inch so maybe that was my mistake but the taste not tolerable to me at all I DONT SMOKE REDS NORMALLY but these had a strange taste to me smoked 2 one with a friend to see how he felt about it he said “sorry but I need to throw this away” so gave to another friend who said he liked them so I guess it’s preference

These cigarettes are pretty good, the packaging and actual look of the cigs is really awesome! The filter is a few mm longer than us cigs. The flavor is the smoothest cigarette you’ve ever tasted! The drag is tight to me. Overall a great smoke worth trying!

Definitely not a bad smoke but its really nothing special in my opinion. For the price I’d rather just buy two packs of a different brand. It was cool to try them out though.

If you like a cigarette with a nice strong flavor that is also mild at the same time which also delivers a wonderful head buzz, then these are cigarettes that you need to try. The filter is about 1/4 of an inch longer than western cigarettes, but it has no perforations and as it delivers such a peasurable smoke then the slight shortness in tobacco length that this cause isnt an issue. Will be buying again, high recommended
