Author’s review “This Djarum Cappuccino clove cigarette is very delicious, the clove in it actually goes perfectly with the coffee flavor. It is overall an exquisite cigarette. Despite the traditional Djarum Blacks, this cigarette is WHITE papered, with a cream filter. It is a very sexy cigarette, with BLACK written on the white paper. These are predominately found as an Indonesian domestic brand, worth getting a pack, but i would NOT suggest a whole carton. The Djarum Black Tea is by far the most superb cigarette ever created. No lie.”

These are a bit slim. The gauge between slims and a standard machine rolled cigarette. Taste with the filter is nice. Dry scent before lighting smells like nescafe coffer. After lighting it has a FAINT taste of the cappuccino, secondhand smells like cocoa, and there’s sweetness in the filter. With the filter removed it doesn’t taste good at all. So a lot of the palate flavor comes from the filter. Would give them a 5 star if the flavor was throughout the entire cigarette and not half the tube/tobacco blend and half flavored filter.

I’ve been smoking Kreteks for years. Once the ban in the United States happened I believed I was forced to smoke cigarettes (Dunhill Internations). The liquor store owner where I bought Djarums was very unhappy about the ban as it caused him business. I was delighted to find CiggiesWorld. I tried the Djarum Blacks and the Djarum Black Cappuccinos. I really liked the Cappuccinos.
The only complaints I have in the long shipping time and not being able to pay by credit card. I’d be willing to pay more for a quicker ship time.

A Djarum black that is wrapped in white paper…? Yeah, and the flavor is almost as misleading to me. These burn super quickly (as they are very thin) and after smoking several with a friend, we decided these really have a very creamy taste to them. Not so much a coffee taste, but they definitely have a sweetness and creaminess that you get in coffee drinks. Really interesting smoke, to be honest. You get that creamy, rich taste in subtle notes that make you want more. I don’t taste the cloves much. These are nice to smoke because of their uniqueness, but not quite the thing for someone like me who likes very clove-y kreteks. I wouldn’t mind buying a couple packs though. 4/5
